WIN A TICKET ANYWHERE USA : The RULES
A clarification of the contest rules:
Each blog will have at least one (sometimes off the wall) question.
Anyone who replies correctly to at least one question between now and December 29, 2009
will be entered in a lottery drawing. You can respond to the question either on this blog, or (for those of you who have it) my email.
The winner will be announced on January 1, 2010. The ticket will be good for a round trip ticket anywhere in the USA where United or its Star Alliance partners fly. Dates should be flexible.
The drawing will be conducted by Ashley, Sara and Nate in order to insure its transparency. We'll videotape it and post the event on the blog.
The questions so far:
1) Name the writer (or the book) with which the following quote is associated: "Only...connect".
2) What is the name of the blind warrior king in the Hindu epic "Bhagavad Gita".
MM
PS: Many thanks to the poet, writer, PBS commentator, Scandanavian scholar and wittiest person in Iowa as well as points north, south, east and west, Steve Kuusisto, for the kind words and the plug on his blog. Plug on a blog? There should be a name for that. Now there is: a "PLOG".
Thanks for the plog, Steve.
You heard it here first.
Steve is the author of PLANET OF THE BLIND, EAVESDROPPING, and MORE BREAD, MORE LIGHT.
You can find him at:

So, let's say the term for plogging someone back is a: "replog".

Hi Michael, I found my way here through Steve's plog! I'm guessing E.M. Forster for question 1. I will also peruse your blog further now I'm here...
